Christina Aguilera naked and pregnant is just following a trend to photograph women at this special time. This is not exactly Maternity Fine Art Photography though, but it is close. Maybe if it were in infrared. There are lots of fine art black and white nudes of pregnant women surrounded by children and/or the father with a hand on her belly. While not all pregnant mothers can look as good as the nearly naked Christina Aguilera, it is a passing phase that should be recorded. As a portrait photographer I have had the opportunity to photography a number of pregnant women. Christina Aguilera is different from almost all the women I see who shriek in horror at the idea of having their portrait taken while they are pregnant. They all want to hide their belly as much as possible. This has always confused me.
Still, not everyone has a stylist and a hair dresser and a makeup artist and very likely an airbrush artist, on their side. Christina Aguilera naked and pregnant on a magazine cover is not the average family portrait, and it is a pretty sexy pose for all the roundness of her tummy.
