No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.-U.S. Constitution
I first heard this bit of silliness a few weeks ago from one of the many Barrack Obama haters I have run across since he won the Presidential Election. It’s a wonderfully odd bit of business. It seems that Barrack Obama was not born in America and as a result of this mishap, he is not a U.S. Citizen and thus not eligible to be President of The United States of America.
The United States Supreme Court officially takes up the issue of whether to ponder whether Obama can become President in formal discussions today in Washington. If the Court does decide to boot Obama from the Office of The President Elect, after they totally screwed up and put Bubba Bush in office, well, can you say Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?
This is very interesting stuff. If Obama should have never been allowed on the ticket, then what? Do we need to have a new election? Does Biden just take his place as if Obama died? Will there be riots in the streets and cries of racism from the rooftops?
The Country is in about the worst shape it has been in the last fifty years or so. Everyday it seems that things can’t get any worse, then they do get worse. So would barring Barrack Hussain Obama from the office of President make things even still worse? The Obama birth certificate supreme court case could be a lot of fun to watch. If they decide to forget about that whole American thing to be President, then the door will be open for Arnold Swarchenegger to be President. Ah, that is something to look forward to.
Thankfully, any court case will be definitively over pretty quickly. This insane blather has been refuted about a bazillion times already:
