Wall of Voodoo’s Mexican Radio is one the best New Wave songs ever. This is right up there with Turning Japanese and Rock Lobster. Stan Ridgeway lyrics have a wonderful internal rhythm and tends to roll around in your head after they are heard. I wish I was in Tijuana, eating barbecued iguana.
They just don’t write them like that anymore.
Anyway, there is like this twenty-fifth anniversary of Call of the West tour going on and Stan Ridgeway is singing the old classics again. Wall of Voodoo rocks man!
