I like coffee, I like free coffee even better, so I signed up to become a Beta Tester at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. There was a very short form to fill out and a few days later-presto, a packet of coffee showed up in the mail. Joffrey’s was also nice enough to put a link back to my blog-at the moment there are 1239 blogs participating in the Joffrey’s Beta Test.
I really liked the smell of Jamaican Me Crazy when I opened the package-a good strong smell with candy overtones. Once brewed it has a good strong coffee flavor with a few hints of other flavors. But I am not exactly a coffee purist, I like my cream and sugar flavored with coffee.
I decided to gave Jamaican Me Crazy a try without sweeteners and it is still very good.
Joffrey’s sent a little letter in with the packet of coffee which talks about their passion and their desire to be rebels with coffee as their cause. They used a silly font and several different colors to get the message across that they are not Starbucks or Illys-though I’m sure they would like to be someday.
Just tooling around their website I found a vast array of coffee and tea products, with a lot of cute names and cool package designs. Hey, it all looks good to me.
