Fix The Dallas Cowboys-Fire Jerry Jones

We didn’t come out and play the way we needed to play,” Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Wade Phillips. Hmm, Ya Think?

This was a bad game for the Dallas Cowboys-4 turnovers, 1 missed field goal, and loss number 3 for the season. The Cowboys also had their usual penalty fest with 8/56 yards. It’s never too early for Dallas fans to shrug and say, well, maybe next year.

There is already talk flying around that Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Wade Phillips should be polishing up his résumé and start looking for a new job. Like Banks, Big Business, and The United States Government-I lay the blame with the idiots at the top-Fire Owner Jerry Jones and his relatives from the Dallas Cowboys. It might not fix things, but it would sure make a lot of people in Dallas happy-at least until we met the new owner.

It has always been a tradition for the Dallas Cowboys to loose to bad teams. Even in the Glory Days of Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith there would always be a team with one win-and it would be against the Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys know they are good-no, they know they are great. So they don’t have to ‘get up’ for a game with a bad team. The bad team, in this case the St Louis Rams, have no problems getting up for the Dallas Cowboys.

For those that may not remember, Stephen Jackson was one of a couple of high caliber running backs that Bill Parcels passed up in the draft. Big Bill said Steven Jackson and Julius Jones were about the same, so he took Jones. Jones is now playing for the Seahawks and averaging about 5 yards a carry. Stephen Jackson has not been great either, but he was when he played the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is a businessman who know how to make money. So he will not be going anywhere until he has bleed every dime he can out of the Cowboys. Jerry seems to like a winning Dallas Cowboys over a loosing one, but I’m not sure what difference it makes to the bottom line. This is a Cowboys team that hasn’t won a playoff game in a really long time-and yet Jerry Jones can still get a giant new stadium built in Arlington, Texas. Filling those Luxury Boxes is what Jerry Jones wants, not necessarily a winning season.

This is a Dallas Cowboys team that was supposed to be great-I guess the St Louis Rams didn’t get the memo. I know there was no Romo, might as well have been no T.O., and Pacman was sent packing. So why did the rest of the Great Team lay down? Romo doesn’t play Defense under another name does he? This team just looks bad.
