Google Chrome Test Drive

Google Chrome is a minimalist browser, as in no toolbars, no status bar and no title bar. As a blogger who likes to see Pageranks, Alexis Ranks, and all kinds of others silliness about sites I visit, this makes Google Chrome less than ideal for me. Google Chrome is fast, why wouldn’t it be? There seems to be next to no overhead. It combines the search and address bar into one Omnibox. Browser Thoughts

Back in the Dark Ages I was a big fan of AOL and the fact that you still occasionally see a tagline at the end of some shows saying AOL Keyword-means that I was not alone. Back then there was Netscape and well, what else? Not much, as a web browser was not much use to people who had to use dial up to get online anyway-you just used your service provider.
